IJAR Young Researcher Award

Thanks to the continued support of the International Journal of Approximate Reasoning, ISIPTA again announces the IJAR Young Researcher Award for this conference edition, consisting of a certificate and 1000 euros.

The prize was decided by a jury consisting of: Denis Maua, Ignacio Montes and Alessio Benavoli. The winners were:

  • Third place (200€): Leonardo Cella.
  • Second place (300€): Dominik Hose.
  • First place (500€): Alexander Erreygers.

Best Poster Award

A jury consisting of Erik Quaeghebeur, Ruobin Gong and Arthur Van Camp will make a selection of best poster presentations. They will take into account both quality of design and quality of the explanations, as well as the votes of the participants. The award is open to everyone presenting a poster. This also includes paper authors, provided of course that they present a poster on a discussion session. The winners were:

  • Emerging talent: Floris Persiau and Dominik Hose.
  • Bronze: Julian Rodemann and Marco de Angelis.
  • Silver: Ignacio Montes and Natan T'Joens.
  • Gold: Alessio Benavoli and Catrin Campbell-Moore.

All winners received a certificate and a book related to (imprecise) probabilities. The books were generously offered by Wiley and Springer.
